   dude, I am NOT a Hillary fan . . . but essentially none of the knowledge and information given to anyone (politicians or joe citizen) back in 2002 holds true today.

   there was so much fear and (patriotic + religious) manipulation back then, that nearly all of us (except for yours truly) stood by the good old USofA and “W” hook-line-and-sinker, drinking the kool-aid without questioning anything.

   Now in 2007, we are All singing a different tune just like Hillary or any politican or citizen that bought in to it 5 years ago.

   Again, not a fan, but this is far from ‘flip-flopping’.

   Doug, I thought of the same thing. I agree with you, to some extent.

   I don’t recall that virtually everyone in the nation was backing W and his boyz. You thought it was a bad idea. I can honestly say I felt something wasn’t right. And, there were a number of Senators and Congressmen who felt the same way. Obama being one of them.

   The difference here is that Obama acted upon his convictions and voted against what Flipton voted for: war.

   Since that time, Flipton has denounced the war, and practically in the same breath, voted to label the Iranian army (whatever they are called) a terrorist organization. Doesn’t that give W the green light to preemptively strike?

   In fairness, I don’t think Obama participated in that vote (which in my book is just as bad).

   This woman says one thing, and does another.
